Cookie policy

What small files the site keeps in your browser, what they are for and how you control them.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that the site leaves in your browser. On your next visit the browser sends it back and the site remembers something about you, for example the language you read in.

What cookies we set

  • pll_language, set by the language module: it remembers the language you read the site in, for one year.
  • Technical WordPress cookies: these appear only for people who sign in to the admin panel and last for the session.
  • Cookies of the security module and of the cache system: again for administrators, so that pages are served and protected correctly.

For an ordinary visitor one cookie remains, the language one. The site runs without Google Analytics, without advertising pixels and without any other tool that follows people between sites.

Cookies from others

The WhatsApp button leads to wa.me, a domain of the WhatsApp service, which sets its own cookies once you get there. Until you press the button, our site stays clear of them.

How you control them

Every browser shows you the cookies and lets you delete or block them, from its settings. If you block the language cookie, the site starts in the default language each time.

Changes

If we ever add tools that set other cookies, we update this list first. This version is from 29 October 2026.
