Remote assessment
Send a recent panoramic X-ray or photos of your teeth. The dentist reviews the case and proposes a preliminary plan.

Consultation and final plan
Clinical examination, X-rays in the clinic and the treatment plan explained on screen, with the intraoral camera.
The work, in our own lab
Crowns, bridges or veneers are made in the clinic, on the days you spend visiting Bucharest.
Try-in, completion, warranty
Adjustments, permanent cementation and a warranty certificate for the prosthetic work, valid for two years.
Dental implants are done in two visits. After placement, the bone needs 4-6 months for osseointegration, 8-9 months if bone grafting was needed. The fixed teeth on implants are made at the second visit.
What you send us before booking your flight
- A recent panoramic X-ray. If you do not have one, we take it at the first visit.
- Clear photos of your teeth, in natural light.
- A short description of the problem and the result you want.
- For a dental implant: recent blood tests and, if you have chronic conditions, a letter from your GP.
- The period when you could come.
Is it safe to have my teeth treated in Romania?
Romania is part of the European Union and dentists' training is recognised in all member states. Dr. Adelina Iorgulescu has practised since 2005 in the same clinic, at 55 Polonă Street, with an in-house dental laboratory.
What matters after treatment is who is responsible for the work. At Dental Travels, the same dentist who treated you stays available on WhatsApp, and prosthetic work has a two-year warranty certificate.

Questions about the trip
What happens if a problem appears after I return home?
You send us photos on WhatsApp. The dentist decides whether it can be solved remotely or needs another visit. Prosthetic work is covered by a two-year warranty.
Can I combine the treatment with a holiday?
Yes. Between sessions you have free days. The old town, the Romanian Athenaeum and Herăstrău Park are a few metro stops away, and Brașov and the castles of Transylvania two to three hours by train.
When do I find out the cost?
After the X-ray is assessed you receive the treatment plan with detailed costs, before booking your flight.
How long do I stay in Bucharest?
For crowns, bridges and veneers, usually a few days. For a dental implant, two short visits 4-6 months apart.
Is the clinic open at weekends?
Monday to Friday, 10:00-20:00. Saturday and Sunday by appointment only, for patients travelling from far away.
